Microseismic monitoring technology development direction and application

Liu Jianzhong,Tang Chunhua,Zuo Jianjun

Strategic Study of CAE 2013, Volume 15, Issue 10,   Pages 54-58

Abstract:

This paper discussed the development direction of microseismic monitoring technology, pointed out that improve the quality of microseismic monitoring system, reduce the front end noise of the instrument, record more and smaller microseismic, tamp the theoretical foundation of microseismic monitoring, and increase the number of microseismic monitoring stations so as to obtain more information that can be compared are important directions for the development of microseismic technology. The introduction of conventional seismic exploration theory can also increase the level of microseismic monitoring, and form complete theory of microseismic. Above are important directions of microseismic monitoring technology development. With the development of technology, microseismic monitoring technology can also be used in seismic exploration and safety prediction of mine, reservoir besides oilfield fracturing and water monitoring.

Looking Back and Prospecting to the Project Design ofthe Spaceflight Launching Site in China

Zhang Zeming

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 4,   Pages 1-5

Abstract:

This paper introduces the development history of the project design of spaceflight launching site in China and the main forms used in the design, and points out that there shouldn't exist only one fixed mode for the spacecraft launch. China should, according to its national condition, design and build the launching project facility and device that correspond to the technology development of spacecraft and carrier rocket.

Breeding strategies for increasing yield potential in super hybrid rice

Shihua CHENG,Xiaodeng ZHAN,Liyong CAO

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2015, Volume 2, Issue 4,   Pages 277-282 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2015081

Abstract: Super hybrid rice breeding is a new breeding method combining semi-dwarf breeding and heterosis breeding using germplasm and gene-environment interactions. This paper reviews the breeding strategies of super hybrid rice breeding in China, focusing on the utilization of heterosis of indica and japonica subspecies, construction of ideal plant architecture and pyramiding of disease resistant genes in restorer lines. To develop super hybrid rice, considerable effort should be made to explore genes related with high yield, good quality, resistance to pests and diseases, tolerance to stresses. Molecular breeding methods in combination with crossing techniques should be adopted in super hybrid rice breeding.

Therapeutic application of hydrogen sulfide donors: the potential and challenges

Dan Wu,Qingxun Hu,Yizhun Zhu

Frontiers of Medicine 2016, Volume 10, Issue 1,   Pages 18-27 doi: 10.1007/s11684-015-0427-6

Abstract:

Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), a colorless gas smelling of rotten egg, has long been considered a toxic gas and environment hazard. However, evidences show that H2S plays a great role in many physiological and pathological activities, and it exhibits different effects when applied at various doses. In this review, we summarize the chemistry and biomedical applications of H2S-releasing compounds, including inorganic salts, phosphorodithioate derivatives, derivatives of Allium sativum extracts, derivatives of thioaminoacids, and derivatives of anti-inflammatory drugs.
